Brand New Tug-E-Nuff Aero-Tug Earns The Dog Trainer School Recommended Product Status

Before the Tug-E-Nuff Aero-Tug officially landed in the hands of dog owners around the world, it landed in the hands of 30 professional dog trainers.

As part of The Dog Trainer School Recommended Product programme, TDTS members were among the very first people anywhere to trial Tug-E-Nuff's brand-new Aero-Tug, putting it through its paces in real training sessions, walks, recalls, retrieve games and water play.

Following three weeks of independent testing, we're delighted to announce that the Tug-E-Nuff Aero-Tug has achieved TDTS Recommended Product status.

The Aero-Tug was tested by 30 dog professionals working with a huge variety of breeds, ages and training styles. Rather than controlled laboratory testing, every toy was used exactly as it would be in everyday life—during classes, one-to-one sessions, dog walks, enrichment activities and play.

The result?

86.7% of testers said they would confidently recommend the Aero-Tug to another trainer or client, comfortably exceeding the threshold required for TDTS Recommended Product status.

What trainers loved

Across the trial, several themes appeared again and again.

Testers praised the Aero-Tug for being:

• Lightweight and easy to throw

• Excellent for tug, retrieve and recall games

• Comfortable for both dog and handler

• Compact enough to take on walks

• A brilliant option for water retrieves thanks to its buoyancy

Many trainers commented on how versatile the toy was, using it not just for tug games but for recalls, engagement work, retrieve training and general enrichment.

One trainer described it perfectly:

"One toy – so many uses."

Others highlighted how well it fitted into reward-based training, with several saying it had quickly become a regular part of their training kit.
