At the heart of The Dog Trainer School, you'll find our membership programme full of training and resources for dog trainers. Our vision is to build a safe place for professional dog trainers to access support such as class plans, client handouts, expert chats and more as well as build their support network, knowledge and skills.
To support our membership, we also offer Live workshops for professional trainers and run a bespoke business mentorship for Dog Trainers
Lee has trained thousands of trainers for one of the UK's largest Dog Training accreditation organisations and has worked closely over the last two years mentoring professional dog trainers from across the UK and Ireland.
Lee runs a successful Dog Training business in South Lincolnshire and works with clients daily. Lee’s considerations when training is a much broader approach than that taken by many. The needs and abilities of the client are considered and training is adapted so results can be easily achieved. It’s why you’ll find not just resources related to dogs in the membership but also resources to help you work with clients with different medical limitations, both physical and mental.
The other half of The Dog Trainer School is Helen. Helen has a background in media and previously set up and run her own dog-training business.
As the world of professional dog training becomes increasingly challenging, it is more important than ever for trainers to have a support network to turn to for advice and guidance
The combined experience and knowledge of both are what gives The Dog Trainer School membership a fresh take and comprehensive approach to all things Dog Training related.
We set up The Dog Trainer School because we have a passion for training dogs, helping owners and building owner-dog relationships and we wanted to share that with other Dog Trainers around the world.
We have a combined experience of working with dogs of over 20 years, so we understand what it’s like to be in front of a group or to work with clients 1-2-1 often with very different abilities and attitudes.
We wanted to develop resources that would help trainers to bring out the best in their clients and to take the pressure out of running classes. We also wanted to free up business owners from time-consuming class planning and research to let them focus instead on delivering exciting, motivating, dynamic training sessions, supported by excellent resources.
